Bromborough Court House Resistivity Survey

Prior to beginning excavation at Bromborough Court House, Big Heritage with the permission of English Heritage and the Land Trust undertook resistivity survey on those areas that were accessible within the interior of the moated area.

We used these results to provide potential targets for our excavations in the autumn, as resistivity survey highlights areas of low resistance and high resistance below the ground surface. High resistance may suggest walls or compacted surface like floors. Low resistance may suggests ditches or post holes for example.
